Niners Know – Title IX Student Training
All students are automatically assigned the “Niners Know” course to complete upon admission to UNC Charlotte. Through a variety of videos, realistic scenarios, and self-guided reflection, students will become educated about sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual and interpersonal violence, stalking, and ways to be an active bystander. Additionally, resources are provided throughout the course to promote a safe environment for all students.
Students will receive an announcement via their email when their assigned course section is live and ready to be accessed. The course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is broken into individual topic areas including: State and University Definitions, Bystander Intervention, Initial Response Measures, Outreach and Support, Formal Investigations, and Risk Reduction.
